6. Account Settings

Settings



The Settings section allows you to alter your account and Channel details, or to permanently delete your account.

There are several settings you can change:

Account Settings

We encrypt all of your personal information
We store your Name so we can address you directly via emails. Your email address is used for the Email Settings below.

Channel Settings

The Channel Name is a unique name for your Channel, and should reflect what kind of surveys you are creating (quizzes, etc). The Description is optional, and can further describe the surveys you create. Both settings are displayed to the respondents when they are looking to answer your surveys.

Email Settings

We use your email address to let you know when your Surveys have received new responses, or are about to expire etc. We also let you know if your account is due to be deleted due to inactivity.

We will send out the occasional Newsletter, containing all the latest new features etc from Zync Free Surveys. If you do not wish to receive this newsletter you can unsubscribe from it by clicking the unsubscribe link on the email itself.

Change Password

You can change your login password here. If you have forgotten your current password, you can reset it from the login screen.

Reset Notices

The notices are handy yellow notes scattered around the system (there is one at the top of the Settings). If you have accidentally closed one you meant to read, you can reset them here.

Delete Account

Be aware that deleting your account is permanent. We will not be able to recover any data from your surveys.

To delete your account, click the Delete Account button and follow the on-screen instructions.
