Question Settings : Choices

Choices

This is available on choice and choice grid type questions, and provides the respondent with the available options that are allows for the question.

Allow "Other" Option

This option shows on most choice options, and allows the respondent to choose 'Other' and add a free text option, if none of the other choices 

Randomise Choice Order

Change the order of choices each time the survey loads, this is useful if the same respondent is filling in the survey to ensure that they read the responses, and removes any bias that may happen if left unchanged.

Adding Choices

For a yes/no question the following choices (see below) are pre-loaded for you:


To add a new choice click the add choice button and add the necessary text.


Removing Choices

To remove a choice click the trashcan icon.

Moving Choices

To move the order of the choices click the drag button 

Choice Icons 

Ensure the question display type is set to 'Icons'.
To add or change an icon ensure that the question's choice display is set to icons, this will display the icons as next to each choice



Click on the grey button shown below (or on an existing choice icon) to show the available icons



Image Icons

Ensure the question display type is set to 'Images'.
Type the text for the response option.



Then click on the camera icon next to the response.

Now click the upload icon  and choose your image (either JPG or PNG)

The image will be uploaded, and a thumbnail created as shown below



Quiz Response Values

When the survey quiz mode is on, the responses show a new dropdown to assign a point value to the response



When the user selects this response the points assigned to it will be added to their total.
